Dromma Bed, a North Carolina-based memory foam mattress retailer announced today that it is expanding its Give A Dream program to benefit Hurricane Harvey victims.
For every mattress sold as part of Dromma’s Labor Day promotion, a mattress will be donated directly to charities supporting Harvey victims.
“As a local, homegrown mattress company, we understand the importance of community at times like these. With all the images of people sleeping in convention centers on the floor, we’re happy to be able to support the greater Houston community providing families a way to get a better night’s sleep with a new bed,” said Derek Ridge, Dromma CEO.
Dromma’s Give A Dream program also supports a local Charlotte-based charity, Beds For Kids.
The owner of HMR, Ryan Monahan, has previously held himself out to the public and the court as independent and unbiased. However, the Federal District Court has found that Monahan has a significant business relationship with GhostBed and its CEO, Marc Werner, from which Monahan derives significant income. The Court also found that HMR has been consistently favorable to GhostBed, and unfairly critical of Purple’s products, one of GhostBed’s primary competitors.
